Cookies Over Flowers

I thought you really loved flowers until we had this conversation this morning after we picked daisies and put them on a vase for your grandma...

Mommy: Who likes cookies?
You: Grandpa
Mommy: Who likes flowers?
You: Grandma
Mommy: Are you like grandpa or grandma?
You: Grandpa
Mommy: Why?
You: I have to.

I know exactly what you meant... you would choose cookies over flowers.

Highlights on Belle's Life

* Born on September 30, 2006 - 9 lbs. 7 oz. C-section
* Smiled on her first portrait at one day old at the hospital
* Laughed out loud for the first time at 6 weeks
* Ate her first solid food at 4months
* Crawled at 6 months
* Got up on her feet on her own at 7 months
* Said "Mama" at 7 months (her first word)
* Started waddling at 9 months
* Ran at 11 months
* Said many words at 1 year, including "Oh, man!"

* Can sing about 10 worship songs with her Mommy right before she turned 3.
* Danced well on her very first stage performance at the Charlie Brown Christmas play at church at 3 years old.
* Memorized her home address at 3.

*Able to write all the letters in the Alphabet in upper case at 3.

*Can and loves to draw people and community at 3.

*Started reading her beginners story books at 4.

*Became a big sister at 4.

*Has traveled across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans at least 8 times by age 4.

*Has been to 11 states by age 4.

*Has been to Europe before turning 4.

*Has been to Tokyo, Japan at age 4.
